The director of communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin, has disclosed that President Akufo-Addo won’t be pressured into taking a decision concerning the report from the emile Short Commission.
His statement follows needs action following the presentation of the report on the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election to the president.
YEN.com.gh below stands that the demand for action comes after parts of the recommendations were published by media platforms under the EIB network.
The report among other strong recommendations urged the President to reprimand the minister of state at the presidency in charge of national security to also disband the swat team of the national security.
“The Commission recommends that Bryan Acheampong be reprimanded for his ultimate responsibility as minister in a exceedingly|in a very uthorising an operation of that character and on on a daily basis of an election in a built up area,” the report said.
Per a Starrfm.com.gh report, Arhin said the president is still learning the report and will act at inside the time granted by the constitution.
