Outspoken musician and NPP member Kwame Asare Obeng popularly referred to as A plus has lashed out at revered and veteran journalists Kwame Sefa Kayi, Kweku Baako and Kwesi Pratt.
A plus criticized the host of Peace FM’s morning show, “Kokroko” for selecting party interest over that of the country’s alleging that the latter chided him for calling out the NPP government after he purportedly exposed some corrupt dealings at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
Kwame Sefa Kayi, he indicated was more keen to do damage control when one in every of the individuals at the heart of the scandal was empaneled on his show.
“…the time that we were talking concerning Korle Bu problems you met me at Roman Ridge and told me that I’m very wrong; because I’m calling the entire government out, because your government is in power. so once individuals are dying at Korle Bu, you don’t care…”
“Every good citizen defends their country all the time and their party when they deserve it. so you’ve got to defend your country all the time. however you were interested in doing damage control. They called you that Abu Jinapor is coming back to your studio for an interview so listen and see however you’ll be able to get the work done.” He added
Turning the heat on Editor of the New Crusading Guide, Kweku Baako and Kwesi Pratt, A plus accused the duo of being faux as they tend to toe the lines of the Convention People’s Party but do the bidding of NPP and NDC respectively. “…all of you, from Kwesi Pratt, Kweku Baako, Sefa Kayi… all these kind of journalists, particularly the sakawa ones.. have you ever noticed that each ‘azaar’ claims he’s CPP? they want to pose as though they are neutral but it’s all lies.
Someone says he’s CPP but has never campaigned for the party, always campaigns for NDC. Another says he’s CPP but always following NPP. You folks are fake, you don’t care about this country but after you sit on radio you speak as if once you’re done it ends the matter…”
