Ghpage.com has keen-sighted a report on social media allegedly from the family of the late Agnes Asempana, a GCB Bank limited staff with the Nsawam branch who committed suicide explaining why they think their daughter took her life in her room on friday, 5th july 2019.
According to the report current on social media, the recently constituted GCB bank board has directed all GCB staff to submit their certificates specifically, their secondary school Certificate (Now Senior High) for verification.
The claim attributed to some members of the family claims that’s what pushed Agnes Asempana over the edge since she feared to lose her job for one reason or the other.

The body of Agnes Asempana was discovered hanging in her bedroom in her two-bedroom flat at Suhum with a nylon rope fastened round her neck on friday, 5th july 2019. She was discovered in the evening of the same day around 4:00 Pm by her brother known as Bajerisong Lazarus who paid her visit.
According to her colleagues, Agnes Asempana sought permission to come back home and pick an item she has left behind during working hours. just for her to go and hang herself.
Eastern Regional Police public relations Officer (PRO), DSP Ebenezer Tetteh confirming the news discovered that there are no external marks which will immediately suggest a foul play in the death of Agnes Asempana however they’re not ruling anything out yet.
