Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold will constitute Ghana in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup respectively, following the cancellation of the 2019/20 season.

“The African club competition is a continental competition, how we deal with the national team situation now could be a basis for authorities in deciding the fate of Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold whether or not to permit them to train or not ,’ he said to Kumasi FM.

“When the time  and the GFA,MOYS and NSA present a valid proposal, precautions and protocols on the safety mechanisms,we will allow them to play to bring happiness back to the fans.

“The health practitioner will look into the health risk and if its low,we can permit them. The nations our clubs will visit will influence our decision, some countries do not even oversee Covid-19 test.

“They will have undergo the same process the national teams are going through now.”
