Disclosed National Security journal gives out corruption at Ghana’s borders

The National Security Minister-designate Albert Kan-Dapaah has stated that state security who’ve been stationed to unlawful roads at Elubo are helping the illegal immigrants to and from the country.

According to a letter to the Interior Ministry spotted by MyNewsGh.com Military, Immigration and Customs officials stationed at the numerous unlawful roads are extorting CFA 1,000 and 10,000 from illegal immigrants.

Also, the National Security Minister stated that safety officers at the borders do not do detailed profiling of the products coming into the country and that has a grim implication for the country.

Apart from the Illegal entry, the National Security Ministry has taken note of the reality that OA Buses that stopped operations while the President announced that the borders were closed have now started plying the Elubo road at night.

The Ministry of National Security called on the Interior Ministry to interfere due to the fact the trend may have adverse economic implication.
