Kwame Baah, music distributor for Fameye as well as Okyeame Kwame, Yaw Tog, Fameye and more granted an interview on the LytsUp show on 1family Radio to clarify the OGB, Fameye brouhaha with regards to a YouTube copyright been pulled down. Kwame Baah, distributor for Fameye stated that he was the aggregator of the YouTube content but Clarified the issue out of Fameye’s den.
On a question of why he took it down since the publisher of the content didn’t give him the right to do so, He explained that with some distribution company rules, reshuffling on YouTube content is done every year to know whether anyone has uploaded a multiple content on YouTube that copyright hasn’t tracked yet, he stood on his claims that the content was affected by the reshuffle program and it wasn’t deliberately done.
Moreover he added a very alarming information that Ogidi Brown who is the CEO of OGB records, Ex manager for the award winning artist Fameye as the Executive Producer of the content owns 100% revenue of the records the artiste toiled for his craft when he was signed to the record label, hit singles such as ‘Nothing I get’, Destiny, notin I get remix, nobody Dey, Fameye has never received any revenue from these songs ever since he exited the label.
